Seminar on Lean Start up and MVP Boot Camp / Mentoring

The seminar on Lean Start-up and Boot Camp / Mentoring" was organized by the Department of Commerce (Finance), Institution's Innovation Council and Consumer Awareness Club of NGM College, Pollachi, on 23 September 2026 at 3.00 p.m. at Abdul kalam Arangam. It aimed to encourage students to identify problems, develop practical business ideas, validate assumptions, and understand the importance of customer-oriented innovation. It also provides knowledge on Startup financing possibilities and approach to financial institutions and their requirement which help them to convert their ideas into feasible entrepreneurial initiatives.

The seminar enhanced students' knowledge on Lean Start-up, Start-up financing and the concept of MVP. It enhanced knowledge on idea validation, customer understanding, market testing, and problem-solving. The programme created an awareness on successful business journeys of KPR Mills, Suguna Poultry, and Udhaya Krishna Ghee. The programme encouraged entrepreneurial thinking and helped students understand how innovative ideas can be transformed into viable business opportunities.
