Dr. S. Pavithra is an academician and researcher in the field of Commerce and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the PG and Research Department of Commerce at Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College, Pollachi.

She completed her B.Com. and M.Com. at Sri GVG Visalakshi College for Women, Udumalpet, affiliated with Bharathiar University, and completed her Ph.D. in Commerce from Bharathiar University in 2026. Her doctoral research focused on “Unveiling the Tourism Potential of Valparai in the Western Ghats.” Her research interests include Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Finance, and Research Methodology, particularly in the areas of tourism marketing and sustainable tourism.

Dr. S. Pavithra has published research papers in journals and contributed three book chapters, besides presenting research papers at several national and international conferences and seminars, including ICSSR-sponsored events. Her research interests also extend to artificial intelligence, e-commerce, blockchain technology, digital transformation, women empowerment, and sustainability.

She has actively participated in numerous faculty development programmes, workshops, webinars, seminars, and conferences and continues to pursue teaching and research in emerging interdisciplinary areas of Commerce and business.
