Biography
I am Dr.M.Amutha, Associate Professor with 24 years of teaching and 15 years of research experience in Chemistry. Specializes in Phytochemistry and Nanochemistry with proven expertise in academic leadership, research supervision, institutional quality assurance, UGC-funded research, and mentoring. Currently serving as IQAC Coordinator and has actively contributed to NAAC, ISO, IIC, NSS, and various institutional initiatives.

• IDMA ACG-SCITECH Best Research Paper Awards (2020 & 2021): Received awards in the Discipline “Pharmacology,” comprising a citation and a cash award of Rs. 5,000/-, presented by Hon'ble Piyush Goyal at the IDMA 60th Year Celebration.
• IIC 3.5 Star Rating Recognition: Awarded a 3.5 Star Rating by IIC during the 2022-2023 and 2023 -2024 academic years under my convenorship.
• Life Saving Award: Received the “Life Saving Award” from the 108 Ambulance Service, Government of Tamil Nadu, on 04.05.2010 for contributions to community life-saving.
• Community Outreach Recognitions: Received appreciation for organizing a voluntary blood donation camp at APA College for Women (2010) and for conducting special NSS camps regarding Health & Hygiene and eye care in Korikkadavu, Kovil Ammapatti, and Nachiappagoundan Valasu (2009).
