Dr. E. Neelamathi is an Assistant Professor of Botany at Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam (NGM) College, Pollachi, with over 21 years of teaching and 22 years of research experience. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Botany, and earned University First Rank with Gold Medal in M.Sc. Plant Science and College First Rank in B.Sc. Botany.
Her research interests include Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Plant Systematics, DNA Barcoding, and Biodiversity Conservation. A recognized Research Guide of Bharathiar University, she has guided M.Phil., Ph.D., and postgraduate research scholars and has published extensively in national and international journals.
Dr. Neelamathi actively contributes to academic governance as a Member of the Board of Studies, Coordinator for Uzhavu Bharatham – Certificate course, NGM Times Magazine Editor-in-Chief and NGM Students Club Coordinator. She is committed to promoting quality education, research, innovation, and student development through teaching, mentorship, and academic leadership.
