NGM College, Pollachi Student Wins Gold at State-Level CM Trophy 2025
Pollachi, October 8, 2025 – In a remarkable display of speed and skill, Selvan Aravinth, a first-year M.Sc. Computer Science student from NGM College, Pollachi, clinched the gold medal in the 110-meter hurdles event at the prestigious State-Level CM Trophy 2025. The athletics meet was held in Chennai on October 7, 2025.
Aravinth clocked an impressive 14.5 seconds, securing the top spot and earning a cash award of ₹1 lakh for his stellar performance. His victory marks a proud moment for NGM College and the Pollachi sporting community, showcasing his dedication and rigorous training.
The CM Trophy, one of Tamil Nadu’s premier athletic competitions, attracts top talents from across the state. Aravinth’s achievement highlights his potential as a rising star in track and field events.
