🛠️ Step-by-Step Admission Process

  1. Registration: * All aspiring candidates must register through the official Online Admission Portal (ngmc.ac.in/online-admission).

    • A valid Email ID and Mobile Number are mandatory for all future correspondence.

  2. Application Submission:

    • Aided Programs: Applications must be submitted within 10 days from the date of publication of Higher Secondary (H.Sc) results.

    • SF Programs: Follow the specific deadlines mentioned in the admission notification for the current academic year.

    • Separate applications are required for each course if applying for multiple programs.

  3. Selection & Merit List:

    • Selection is strictly based on marks secured in the qualifying examination (H.Sc for UG and Degree marks for PG).

    • For B.Sc. programs, marks in core subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology) are prioritized.

    • For B.A./B.Com programs, preference is given to candidates who studied relevant subjects in H.Sc.

  4. Interview & Counseling:

    • Provisionally selected candidates are intimated via email/SMS to appear for a personal interview.

    • Note: Sports personnel, NCC cadets, and differently-abled students are given special preference as per government norms.

  5. Final Confirmation:

    • Admission is confirmed only after the physical verification of original certificates and payment of the prescribed fees.


📋 General Guidelines & Eligibility

  • Undergraduate (UG): A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 system) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination accepted by Bharathiar University.

  • Postgraduate (PG): A pass in the respective Undergraduate degree from a recognized university.

  • Reservation Policy: The college strictly adheres to the Communal Reservation rules (OC, BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SC(A), ST) as mandated by the Tamil Nadu Government.

  • Equivalence Certificate: Candidates from boards other than Tamil Nadu State Board and CBSE must produce an Equivalence Certificate issued by Bharathiar University.
