Ranjit is a distinguished academician, researcher, trainer, and research consultant with over 20 years of rich experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and consultancy in the field of Social Work. He currently serves as the Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Social Work, NGM College, Pollachi, where he has been instrumental in promoting academic excellence, research innovation, and community engagement.
His areas of specialization encompass Personnel Management, Human Resource Development, Research Methodology, Quantitative Data Analysis, and Advanced Statistical Applications. Recognized for his expertise in research design and analytics, Dr. Ranjit has established himself as a sought-after mentor and resource person for researchers, faculty members, and higher education institutions across India.
Throughout his academic career, he has been actively involved in several major research projects funded by various Central Ministries as a Research Fellow and investigator. In recognition of his research excellence, he was awarded a prestigious Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) Major Research Project Grant (2026) worth ₹16 lakh for his multidisciplinary research titled “Indigenous Ecological Knowledge for Mitigating Human–Animal Conflicts: A Multidisciplinary Study among PVTGs and Non-Tribal Communities in the Nilgiris District, South India.”
