Dr. R. Rakkimuthu is an Assistant Professor and Head of the PG and Research Department of Botany at Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College (Autonomous), Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, India. He received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Bharathiar University in 2015. His research interests include plant biotechnology, bioprospecting, phytochemistry, medicinal plants, and green nanotechnology. He has published over 30 research papers, authored a book, holds patents on eco-friendly herbal technologies, and has organized numerous academic programmes. He actively contributes to teaching, research, innovation, and academic administration through various institutional responsibilities.
