Divyabharathi is an academician and researcher with over nine years of teaching and research experience in the field of Commerce. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce (Computer Applications) at NGM College, Pollachi, where she has been working since June 2019. Prior to this, she served as Assistant Professor at Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi, from June 2017 to May 2019.
She holds an M.Phil. in Commerce (Finance) and a Master of Commerce (Computer Applications) from NGM College, Pollachi, securing First Class with Distinction in both degrees. Her research interests encompass Digital Finance, Financial Literacy, Investment Behaviour, Women’s Financial Empowerment, Financial Inclusion, FinTech, Digital Marketing, Artificial Intelligence in Commerce, Online Learning (MOOCs), Digital Transformation, and Technology-Enabled Commerce Education.
She has published 13 research papers in UGC CARE-listed and peer-reviewed journals and has contributed 19 scholarly publications through conference proceedings and ISBN-edited book chapters. Her research focuses on digital financial inclusion, investment behaviour, MOOCs and online learning, women’s savings and investment behaviour, digital banking, insurance digitalization, artificial intelligence, fintech adoption, taxation, and technology-driven business transformation. She has presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences.
She has actively participated in several Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), international workshops, seminars, and certification programmes conducted by reputed institutions across India. She has successfully completed professional certification courses from renowned platforms such as Coursera, NISM, Infosys Springboard, Great Learning Academy, IIT Madras (NPTEL-AICTE), and the University of Hong Kong. These include specialized courses on University Teaching, Teacher Social and Emotional Learning, Teaching Character and Creating Positive Classrooms, Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Microsoft Excel, Basic Accounting, Digital Marketing, Online Dispute Resolution Mechanism, Listing of Social Stock Exchanges, and MOODLE Learning Management System, strengthening her expertise in pedagogy, digital technologies, finance, and higher education.
