Dr. P. Sathishkumar, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Assistant Professor, PG and Research Department of Botany at NGM College (Autonomous), Pollachi, since 2016. Prior to this role, I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at KSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore (2014–2016). I have also 2 years of work experience in the field of Plant Taxonomy at the Fischer Herbarium, Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB), Coimbatore. Expertise in Plant Taxonomy, Phytochemistry and field-based botanical studies. With a strong foundation in plant identification and biodiversity conservation, I am dedicated to advancing research and education in plant sciences. My expertise also extends to Applied Tissue culture techniques, Ecological studies, and Biodiversity assessments.
