The Bachelor of Commerce in Professional Accounting (B.Com. PA) program offered by Bharathiar University is a highly rigorous three-year undergraduate degree structured across six semesters, specifically designed to align academic education with professional accounting certifications like CA, CMA, and ACS. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have successfully passed their Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C. / 10+2 standard) examination with a preference for the Commerce and Accountancy stream from a recognized educational board. Operating under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and featuring the integrated “Naan Mudhalvan” skill development modules, the specialized curriculum offers deep, advanced learning in fields such as Principles of Accountancy, Corporate Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Mercantile Law, and Strategic Management, alongside computer application labs in MS Office and Tally. This professional orientation builds advanced quantitative, financial reporting, and statutory compliance capabilities, strategically preparing graduates to clear professional accounting board examinations and secure high-level global careers as corporate auditors, tax consultants, financial analysts, chief accounting executives, and investment advisors.
