Established in 2010. As there is a growing need for English literature and language, it had been started to carter the demands of the students in the present and in the future. The department has the unique pride of serving rural students from economically backward & socially challenged. It is privileged to have students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and learning curves. Amble opportunities, care, platforms and exercises are given to the students to make themselves unique in this fast world.

The mission is to provide the necessary focus for communication skills, to master LSRW skills, adopting effective strategies for language and literature learning, to facilitate the language learning process making language and literature study enjoyable.

‘AURORA’ is named after Aurora- goddess of dawn in roman mythology. It is established to bring the students to the lime light. We organize guest lecture, seminar workshop literary quiz. ‘The peers’ the theatre society has the strong vision and sense of responsibility to make the students fertile through drama and stage. The inner house competition helps to bring out talent without stage fear. On the whole, the association facilitates the students to improve skills to learn and understand English literature & language. It helps to experience the art of speaking and presents platform to expertise.
