Fee Refund Policy

In accordance with the University Grants Commission (UGC) Notification and Tamil Nadu State Government Higher Education norms.

Policy Statement NGM College follows a transparent fee refund process for students who withdraw their admission. The refund amount is determined by the timing of the withdrawal request relative to the formally notified last date of admission.

Refund Schedule:

  1. Full Refund: 100% of fees (less a processing charge of not more than ₹1,000) will be refunded if the withdrawal notice is received 15 days or more before the formally notified last date of admission.

  2. Partial Refund (90%): If received less than 15 days before the last date of admission.

  3. Partial Refund (80%): If received 15 days or less after the last date of admission.

  4. Minimal Refund (50%): If received between 16 and 30 days after the last date of admission.

  5. No Refund: No fees will be refunded (except Caution Deposits) if the withdrawal occurs more than 30 days after the last date of admission.

Procedure for Refund:

  • Application: Submit a formal “Cancellation of Admission” letter to the Principal’s Office.

  • Documentation: Attach the original Fee Receipt and the Allotment Order/Admission Card.

  • Payment: Refunds are processed via Account Payee Cheque or NEFT to the student’s/parent’s bank account within 15 working days of approval.
