📝 Phase 1: The Application Process

Step 1: Obtain the Form

  • 📍 Location: College Office.

  • 💰 Fee: Rs. 25/- (Note: Prospectus cost is separate).

Step 2: Submission Deadline

  • 📅 Timing: Submit to the Principal within 10 days of the results being published.

Step 3: Course Selection

  • ⚠️ Important: A separate application must be submitted for each course you wish to apply for.

🔍 Verification Warning

⚠️ Zero Tolerance Policy: Admission is subject to strict verification of Mark Certificates by the Director of Government Examinations. If a certificate is found to be bogus:

  1. Admission will be cancelled immediately.

  2. Criminal action will be initiated.

We value talent and diversity. Please enclose True Copies of relevant certificates.

  • 🏅 Sports & Talent: Preference given to sportsmen and talented students. (Attach certificates of distinction in Sports, Games, or Social Service).

  • ♿ Differently Abled: Due consideration given. (Attach certificate from a recognized Medical Officer).

  • 🪖 Ex-Servicemen: Reservation for children of Ex-servicemen of Tamil origin per Govt. rules. (Attach Ex-Servicemen Certificate from competent authority).

🤝 Phase 5: The Interview

Applicants provisionally selected will be intimated to appear for an interview.

Produce these ORIGINALS at the time of the interview:

Q: Where can I get the application form and how much does it cost?

A: You can collect the form directly from the College Office. The cost is Rs. 25/-. Please note that the Prospectus fee is extra and not included in this price.

Q: I want to apply for both B.Com and B.A. Economics. Can I use one form?

A: No. You must submit a separate application for every individual course you are interested in.

Q: When is the last date to submit my application?

A: You must submit your completed application to the Principal’s office within 10 days from the date your board results are officially published.

Q: Do I need to submit my original mark sheets with the application?

A: No, do not send originals yet. You only need to enclose Photostat (Xerox) copies. For PG programs, remember to include two copies of your UG mark sheet.

Q: How are students selected for the B.Sc. Mathematics program?

A: Selection is based on the marks you secured in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in your H.Sc. exams. You must have studied these three subjects to be eligible.

Q: What happens if there is a mistake or issue with my Mark Certificate?

A: All certificates are verified by the Director of Government Examinations. If a certificate is found to be bogus (fake), your admission will be cancelled immediately and legal/criminal action will be taken.

Q: Are there any preferences for sports players or children of Ex-servicemen?

A: Yes. Talented students in sports, games, or social service, as well as children of Ex-servicemen (of Tamil origin), are given preference/reservation as per Government rules. Ensure you attach the relevant certificates to your application.

Q: Why should I take Xerox copies of my originals before the interview?

A: Once you are admitted, the college will keep your original certificates. You will need copies for things like bank accounts, bus passes, or scholarship applications, so it is vital to have your own set of copies before handing the originals over.
