Dr. Arumugam Vignesh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at NGM College (Autonomous), Pollachi, India, which is affiliated with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He obtained his Ph.D. in Botany from the Department of Botany, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and India. Prior to his current position, he worked as a Research Fellow under a project funded by the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST) at Bharathiar University. He has more than 10 years of research experience in the field of plant sciences and allied disciplines.

He has published numerous research articles in reputed international peer-reviewed journals. In addition to his research contributions, he serves as a peer reviewer and Editorial Board Member for several national and international scientific journals. His research interests focus on phytonutrients, phytoconstituents, food chemistry, cancer biology, microbiology, nanotechnology, and the development of natural drug delivery systems.
