Dr.S.Poongodi is working as an Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Commerce with Computer Applications at NGM College, Pollachi. She has started her journey as an Assistant Professor in the year 2007 after completing her Master of Philosophy in Commerce. She completed her Ph.D from Bharathair University. In addition, she holds Masters in Business Administrations and Diploma in Computer Applications from Bharathiar University. She has many distinguished academic records to her credit, including a First Class with Distinction in    B.Com and M.Com from NGM College, Pollachi. She has published research papers in reputed Journals at National and International level. She has presented papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences. She has attended a number of Workshops and Faculty Development Programmes at various colleges. She has produced four M.Phil Scholars. She acted as a Coordinator in the Equal Opportunity Centre of NGM College, Pollachi, from the year 2018 to 2021. Her area of specialization is Income Tax,  Marketing and Accounting for Decision Making.
