Dr. A. G. Kannan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam (NGM) College. He completed his Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and obtained his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

His research interests include advanced materials, nanoscience, and optoelectronic materials. He has published numerous research articles in reputed international peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research findings at several national and international conferences.

Dr. Kannan serves as a reviewer for leading international journals, including Applied Nanoscience, Nanomaterials and Energy, and the Journal of Optoelectronics and Advanced Materials, contributing to the advancement of high-quality scientific research.
