Dr. S. Muthukumaravel

An enthusiastic and dedicated academician with over two decades of teaching and research experience, he is deeply committed to nurturing students through holistic and value-based education. He has extensive experience mentoring learners from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds, fostering critical thinking, research aptitude, and intellectual growth. His areas of specialization include Canadian Literature, Cultural Studies, and English Language Teaching, with strong interdisciplinary research interests. Serving as Head of the Department since 2009, he has actively contributed to academic leadership, curriculum development, and quality assurance initiatives. He has guided Ph.D. and M.Phil. scholars, published research in reputed journals, edited academic anthologies, and organized numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. A passionate mentor and visionary administrator, he continues to inspire students and scholars toward academic excellence and professional competence.
