B.Sc. – Computer Science with DA

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science with Data Analytics offered by Bharathiar University is a specialized three-year undergraduate program structured across six semesters, engineered to merge core computing principles with advanced data analysis frameworks. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have successfully completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C. / 10+2 standard) examination with Mathematics or Computer Science as a mandatory subject of study. Operating under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and aligned with the state government’s “Naan Mudhalvan” skill development initiative, the comprehensive curriculum bridges traditional programming—such as C, C++, and Java—with specialized data-driven verticals including Python and R programming, Big Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Database Management Systems (DBMS), and Machine Learning. This analytical and highly technical academic path equips graduates with essential data architecture and modeling skills, effectively preparing them for competitive global careers as data analysts, software engineers, data engineers, business intelligence specialists, and system analysts.
