Mrs. S. Saranya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College, Pollachi. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and has over a decade of experience in teaching, technical training, research, and student mentoring. She holds an M.Phil. and MCA in Computer Science and has built strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Science, Python, Java, Cyber Security, Data Mining, and Software Engineering.

Throughout her academic career, she has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses while actively contributing to curriculum development, institutional quality initiatives, and student development programs. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IoT-enabled Smart Agriculture, Weather Forecasting, Natural Language Processing, and Intelligent Automation.

Published numerous research papers in reputed journals, including Web of Science, Scopus, and UGC Care-listed journals, and has presented research at several national and international conferences. She has also authored a book chapter in the field of Artificial Intelligence for Business and Commerce. Her research focuses on developing innovative AI- and IoT-based solutions for real-world applications, particularly in agriculture, weather prediction, and smart systems.

An active academic professional, she has participated in and delivered Faculty Development Programmes, workshops, seminars, and webinars on emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Deep Learning, Cyber Security, Blockchain, Data Analytics, and Prompt Engineering. She has served as a resource person, mentor, placement coordinator, IQAC coordinator, and Infosys Springboard mentor, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence and professional development.
