IQAC Overview

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been functioning in the college since its first accreditation. As a post-accreditation quality-sustenance measure, the IQAC channels the efforts and measures of the institution towards academic excellence and acts as the nodal agency for coordinating quality-related activities.

Functions of IQAC

Development and application of quality benchmarks / parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education.
Organisation of workshops and seminars on quality-related themes and promotion of quality circles.
Documentation of the various programmes and activities leading to quality improvement.
Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
Development and maintenance of an institutional database through MIS for maintaining and enhancing institutional quality.
Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC.

Objectives
