I have compled Ph.D. in Computer Science – Karpagam University, 2013;M.Phil in computer science -Periyar University,2007;Master of computer application – Bharthidasan University, 1999;Bachelor’s in Computer Science– NGM College, 1996.

With 18 years of dedicated experience in academia, I have been a cornerstone of excellence in the field of computer science education. Specializing in data mining, image processing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, etc., I have consistently contributed to fostering student understanding, innovation, and research capabilities.

I have taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including but not limited to Data Structures, Algorithms, Database Management Systems, software testing and all programming languages. I am best known for employing innovative teaching methodologies, integrating industry practices, and maintaining a student-centric approach in classrooms.

“My mission is to inspire and educate the next generation of computer scientists and researchers by fostering a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.” I am passionate about mentoring students beyond academics, guiding them in career development and research opportunities. Additionally, I actively engage in community outreach programs to encourage interest in computer science among young learners.

Scalable, High Performance search based image annotation using Enhanced Multi Instance Differentiation framework The Enhanced Multi Instance Differentiation (EMID) framework enables scalable and high-performance image annotation through an advanced search-based approach. It utilizes multi-instance learning to handle large-scale image datasets by differentiating between relevant and non-relevant instances, allowing for more accurate tagging and descriptions. EMID employs efficient indexing and retrieval strategies, significantly improving search speed and annotation precision. By leveraging deep learning techniques and multi-modal feature extraction, it can process images in diverse contexts, capturing fine-grained details. The framework is optimized for parallel and distributed computing, ensuring high throughput and responsiveness making it ideal for real-time applications.
