Dr.R.Gayathri is Associate Professor in Commerce and has 24 years of Teaching Experience and 20 years of research experience. She has pursued a B.Com and M.Phil from Bharathidasan University an M.Com from Annamalai University and Ph.D from Bharathiyar University. Under her guidance, 7 research scholars were awarded Ph.D and 7 M.Phil scholars were awarded dissertations. She has been awarded a minor research project from ICSSR in 2018 for Rs. 3,00,000 and a short-term research project from ICSSR in the year 2023 for Rs.3,00,000. She has organised 5 National conferences, a National workshop, and two International conferences from 2012 to 2020. She has been awarded funds from ICSSR for organising a National seminar in 2023. Her area of specialization is Marketing and Finance. She has published 26 articles in National and International Journals and Published 13 Book chapters. She is currently acting as Ambassador for Institution Innovation Cell(IIC) and Criterion Manager for NAAC and AQAR. She has completed 3 NPTEL Courses and acted as NPTEL Mentor in 2023. She has completed two FDPs from ATAL Training and Learning Academy and the NEP 2020 Orientation program from the Malaviya Mission Programme. She has served as PG Commerce BOS Chairman from 2009 to 2020.
