Assistant Professor

Dr. B. Indira Priyadharshini is an academician and researcher with over a decade of teaching experience. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce (E-Commerce) at NGM College. She holds a PhD in Commerce, which she obtained in 2019, and has also, qualified the State Level Eligibility Test in Commerce. She further holds an M.Phil degree in Commerce and a Master’s degree in both Commerce and Business Administration. Her area of specialization include Marketing and Human Resource Management. She has completed Summer Faculty Research Fellowship Programme from the prestigious Indian Institute of Tecchnology (IIT – New Delhi – 2022).She has an impressive publication record, with over 30 research articles in Scopus, Web of Science and reputed journals, 15 conference proceedings, and 10 book chapters. In addition to her scholarly activities, she has completed 3 funded research projects, edited 10 books, and authored 5 monographs. She is also a member of the editorial boards of several respected journals, including the Journal of Commerce and Management Thought and the International Journal of Research in Economics and Social Sciences. Furthermore, she is a member of several professional associations, such as the Indian Association of Women Studies, the Indian Academics and Researchers Association, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Association, and the Teaching and Education Research Association. She has also provided research guidance to one M.Phil student and is currently supervising three PhD scholars. She has also organized several seminars with the support of grants from the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and the ICSSR-SRC.
